    National Chemical Engineering Symposium 2011

    Friday, October 28, 2011
Hey! Sorry it's been such a long time since i've updated my blog!
Can’t help it, i got lazy xD sorry again!
Okay, let's leave that aside, today i want to talk about National Chemical Engineering Symposium (NACES)

NACES is a gathering for chemical engineering students in Malaysia
However, chemical engineering students from South East Asia region also invited to be our guest participants!
This year NACES will be held in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 16th-18th Dec 2011
The theme for NACES 2011 is SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
So, so, so, what's so special about NACES?

Well, there are five competitions that will be held in conjunction of this event
The competitions are Technical Essay Writing CompetitionTechnical Power Point Presentation CompetitionTechnical Video Presentation CompetitionTechnical Plant Design Competition and Technical Case Study Competition

I will be taking part in technical essay writing competition
The theme for the essay is of course - Sustainable Development
It should be in between of 1000-2000 words excluded abstracts, appendices, endnotes and footnotes
    AND
a 300 words summary on the articles.
fuhh, it sure do sounds like a pain in the ass aite ?? xD

So i haven't started writing yet, but fear not!
I think i have some ideas on what to write about :)
Still, i can't keep delaying this task, gotta finish it before its dateline which is on 10th November!
i will give this my best, however, winning or losing doesn't really matter you know, the main purpose of me joining this event is to meet up with chemical engineers all over Malaysia and Southeast Asia region, get new friends, and get to learn more about my field of study :)

So, that's all in my post this time
qayyum, lets meet at UTM this December, okay? And to all other chemineers too, aiman, uyuun, and the others, i'm hoping to meet you guys there too!
    Till my next post, bye!

    10 amazing lessons in life

    Monday, August 15, 2011
    Hi guys !
today i wanna share with you about 10 amazing lessons we can learn from the genius ,
    Albert Einstein

    1) Follow Your Curiosity

“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”

What piques your curiosity? I am curious as to what causes one person to succeed while another person fails; this is why I’ve spent years studying success. What are you most curious about? The pursuit of your curiosity is the secret to your success.

    2) Perseverance is Priceless

“It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer.”

Through perseverance the turtle reached the ark. Are you willing to persevere until you get to your intended destination? They say the entire value of the postage stamp consist in its ability to stick to something until it gets there. Be like the postage stamp; finish the race that you’ve started!

    3) Focus on the Present

“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”

My father always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time. I like to say, you can do anything, but not everything. Learn to be present where you are; give your all to whatever you’re currently doing.Focused energy is power, and it’s the difference between success and failure.

    4) The Imagination is Powerful

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

Are you using your imagination daily? Einstein said the imagination is more important than knowledge! Your imagination pre-plays your future. Einstein went on to say, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.” Are you exercising your “imagination muscles” daily, don’t let something as powerful as your imagination lie dormant.

    5) Make Mistakes

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”

Never be afraid of making a mistake. A mistake is not a failure. Mistakes can make you better, smarter and faster, if you utilize them properly. Discover the power of making mistakes. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, if you want to succeed, triple the amount of mistakes that you make.

    6) Live in the Moment

“I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.”

The only way to properly address your future is to be as present as possible “in the present.”You cannot “presently” change yesterday or tomorrow, so it’s of supreme importance that you dedicate all of your efforts to “right now.” It’s the only time that matters, it’s the only time there is.

    7) Create Value

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

Don’t waste your time trying to be successful, spend your time creating value. If you’re valuable, then you will attract success.Discover the talents and gifts that you possess, learn how to offer those talents and gifts in a way that most benefits others.Labor to be valuable and success will chase you down.

    8) Don’t Expect Different Results

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

You can’t keep doing the same thing everyday and expect different results. In other words, you can’t keep doing the same workout routine and expect to look differently. In order for your life to change, you must change, to the degree that you change your actions and your thinking is to the degree that your life will change.

    9) Knowledge Comes From Experience

“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.”

Knowledge comes from experience. You can discuss a task, but discussion will only give you a philosophical understanding of it; you must experience the task first hand to “know it.” What’s the lesson? Get experience! Don’t spend your time hiding behind speculative information, go out there and do it, and you will have gained priceless knowledge.

    10) Learn the Rules and Then Play Better

“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”

To put it all in simple terms, there are two things that you must do. The first thing you must do is to learn the rules of the game that you’re playing. It doesn’t sound exciting, but it’s vital. Secondly, you must commit to play the game better than anyone else. If you can do these two things, success will be yours!

itu je untuk post kali ini
insyaAllah in my next post, imma update more about my life
so, goodbye, may peace be upon you !

    Don't We All ?

    An inspirational story

One evening I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my wife to finish work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum. From the looks of him he had no car, no home, no clean clothes and no money.

There are times when you feel generous, but there are times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of the "Don't want to be bothered" times! " Hope he doesn't ask me for money," I thought. He didn't. He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop and he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.

After a few minutes he spoke. "That's a very nice car," he said. He was ragged, but had an air of dignity around him. I said "Thanks," and continued wiping off my car. He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came. As the silence between us widened, something inside said, "Ask him if he needs any help." I was sure that he would say yes, but I held true to the inner voice.

"Do you need any help?" I asked. He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget. We often look for wisdom in great accomplishments. I expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments. I expected nothing but an outstretched grimy hand. He spoke three words that shook me, "Don't we all?" he said. I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day.

Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help. Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that!

You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse of something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you, through a torn world can see.

i like this story, a lot, yes, we all do need help and we all can give help, even tough there are times when you think you have nothing more to give, but i believe that when someone close cries out to you, you will find the strength to help, insyaAllah :)

mari, kita buka dan lembutkan hati kita :)

Forgive me Allah For the wrongs I have done. For anger, I shouldn't have Against anyone. I know I'm weak Allah, But I love You, I really do, And in spite of my weakness, I know You love me too. Forgive me for not reading Your word, And for the times that I stray. Forgive me for just being too tired When I don't take the time to pray. Give me the strength, Oh! Allah, to do what I should each day. Let Your love shine through me So others will follow Your way. Even though I've failed You Allah, I know You'll forgive me, And this I promise Allah, A better Muslim I will be. For Your presence is in me Filling my heart with Your love, And I have Your reassurance You're guiding from above. I love You Allah, and thank You For the blessings You bestow, I will tell others about You So Your goodness they too, will know.

    it's nice to be home

    Tuesday, July 19, 2011

warning : ini langsung xde kena mengena dengan title.i just happened to be clueless on what to put for the title,so i just randomly put something that was inside my head at that moment, and, there you go 'it's nice to be home' :)

    i've been thinking
    as we grow up,
we tend to see what we never happened to see before,
    our mistakes,
    our sins,
    and
all that really matters to us.

Ya Allah, jika esok aku masih hidup, jadikanlah aku hambaMu yang lebih beriman, lebih bersyukur, lebih sabar dan lebih baik dari hari ini.

    lol,warning lagi panjang dari isi kandungan.bhaha! :)

before this dah ada sorang cakap ak macam hafiz and sebab tu la ak kenal dengan dia
dah lama, waktu form 3 dulu, and now tiba tiba muncul lagi sorang perempuan cakap macam tu
    and,yeah,i find it funny,lol :D

    minggu pertama di dungun,awesomee!haha

first class hydrocarbon dah dapat assignment kena buat presentation in 2 days time :)
and minggu depan pula satu kelas kena tolong pertandingan debat sultan zainal abidin selama 4 hari

lepas tu,pergi paka, budak budak ni nak pergi shisha, mcm best je tengok diorg shisha, tapi, xpela,ak still xmo try.haha!
and waktu shisha tu juga, anip sempat lagi belek belek baju kat kedai bundle, ada la 2 helai baju yg dia beli.haha!

lepas shisha tu,dalam pukul 1 lebih, naik pergi kemasik plak :D
    kat situ main amek2 gambar.haha.
lepak kat situ lama juga, bila dah bosan tu,kteorg start kete naik pergi cherating plak
    anip drive! haha.sumpah kenaling!huhu
sesampai di cherating, baru je lepak skejap, then ak kasi cadangan pergi teluk cempedak kat kuantan plak
so start lagi kete, naik pergi kuantan plak
huu, sumpah memang x sangka la nak naik sampai ke kuantan tu -.-

sesampai kat tc,jalan jalan, lepak lepak, terjumpa ramai juga dengan budak uitm dungun
salah sorang dia acap budak kelas tasneem dengan dating, kot?
agak lama kat kuantan, pukul 4 pagi tu still tgh makan kat kedai mamak, makan roti canai.haha
waktu tu semua tgh kebulur cari kedai makan -.-
lepas siap makan, mula mula plan nak pergi rumah syafiq plak, kat jerantut, tapi x jadi, cancel, sebab lama gila kot perjalanan nak ke sana, kteorg semua dah x larat.lol
bila plan tu cancel, kteorg pun start kete, and menuju kembali ke dungun
alhamdulillah, selamat sampai dungun around pukul 9 pagi x.x

paling kesian kat syafiq, dia ingat kteorg nak pergi lepak kat depan rumah sewa dia tu je,tengok tengok sampai kuantan.haha
tapi walaupun penat, sumpah seronok.gambar gambar akan diupload nanti di entry seterusnya! :)

haaa, lagi satu, semalam seorang kawan baik ak bercakap pasal hipokrit
hipokrit, bermaksud sembunyikan muka sebenar dengan memakai topeng, kan?
    like,berpura pura.

“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.”

    tiada solat tiada agama

    Saturday, May 7, 2011
    tazkirah di pagi hari

    assalamualaikum

    solat

    lagi,
dalam Mazhab Hambali, jika tinggal solat, walau satu waktu, dengan SENGAJA,ia dikira MURTAD, wajib qada cepat2.berat sikit hukum mazhab hambali kan..sebab dia pakai hadis sahih Nabi yg bersabda :
Barang siapa yg tinggal satu waktu sembahyang dengan sengaja, maka telah jadi kafir terang- terangan.

tapi nasib baik la,ulama' kita ni berlembut sikit di mana tinggal solat dengan sengaja, hukumnya fasik!

jadi ingat, solat itu tiang agama, tiada solat, tiada agama buat kita..

peringatan untuk diri ak dan semua..

    wallahua'lam

    mdm sopiah pernah cakap
" setinggi mana pun awak belajar, sampai ke phd sekali pun tapi kalau awak x solat, awak orang yang paling bodoh di dunia "

    are you a man?happy mother's day~

    The Don't Quit Poem

    Wednesday, May 4, 2011
a beautiful, excellent and inspiring video which remind us to hold on
    watch it :)

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
    When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

    - Author unknown

sometimes, life knocks us hard,i mean, very hard, till we fell and feel like giving up
but then again,we have to move foward
never give up and keep pushing for what we want and believe in
we must keep on going, despite of our life's difficulties
cause at the end of the "road" a beautiful rainbow is waiting for us....

    look at yourself

this vid has made me realize that giving up is never an option. hope it does for you guys too.

    quick update

i enjoy downloading today . lol

and thanks for the good laugh last night group 'Chemical Engineering (2010/2011)' :D

group ni memang meriah gila waktu cuti kan.haha

    i love ya mom.

    i love you umi

    haish

Ya Allah, how much more complicated can it gets?
ingatkan kalau ak diam je x cakap pape,x story about my side of story
    then everything xkan berlanjutan
altough sometimes i feel like talking and letting you know what i've kept inside, all the stuffs you don't know
but, nah, that will drag things more longer
    so enough is enough..please everyone..

    Do'a for all my Friends!

    Saturday, April 30, 2011
i found this do'a on Tengku Shahrom's facebook
    it's a very beautiful do'a

Dear Allah, I do not know of all the challenges my friends are facing, but You know everything. I hear their silence, but You hear their plead. I see them laughing, but You see their tears. I see when they give, but You see what has been taken from them. I see their lively outward appearance, but You see the scars in their soul. I experience their faith, but You know their doubts. So please give us everything we need, guide us to the correct path, strengthen our Iman, bless us abundantly for all times to come. Thank you Allah!

seringkali kita melihat luaran je dan tigak mengetahui apa sebenarnya yang mereka lalui dan perlukan
semoga segala urusan sahabat sahabatku dipermudahkanNya

    LESSONS ON LIFE

    Friday, April 29, 2011
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of  promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment. The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't  judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

"... eye had not seen, nor ear heard... the things which GOD had prepared for them that love Him."

Have a wonderful morning and a great day ahead!  smile.gif

    what letting go really means

    Sunday, April 17, 2011
To "let go" does not mean to stop caring. It means I can't do it for someone else.

To "let go" is not to cut myself off. It's the realization that I can't control another.

To "let go" is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands, but in God's.

To "let go" is not to try to change or blame another. It's to make the most possible out of myself.

To "let go" is not to care for, but care about.

To "let go" is not to fix, but to be supportive.

To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being, as we all are.

To "let go" is not to be in the middle, arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To "let go" is not to deny, but to accept.

To "let go" is not to nag, scold, fuss, or argue; but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To "let go" is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.

To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to live for today and grow for the future.

To "let go" is to fear less and to love more.

This is to remind you and myself that each one of us has things in our life beyond our control – and often the healthy thing is to let go... in the proper way.

    story

    Sunday, April 10, 2011
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use
while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the

    rest on the operational track.

The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can
make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the
kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused
track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?

Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could
    make.

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice
only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, to save
most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision
most people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought
that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the
right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who
chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us
everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a
democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of
the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how
farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to
play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case
he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.

The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try
to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing
on the operational track should have known very well that track was still
in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's
sirens. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die
because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover,
that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train
was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on
board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one
child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few
    kids.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be
made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right
    one.

'Remember that what's right isn't always popular... and what's popular
    isn't always right.'

Everybody makes mistakes; that's why they put erasers on pencils.
