" Once upon a time, she left me.
    She left me sick.
    I swear to be strong.
    I get up.
But deep in my heart I died a little inside. "

    Caring for The Seasons

    Tuesday, July 23, 2013
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly, so he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no, it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, and the fulfillment of your fall. This is to remind us not to let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to follow.

that's what we tend to do in most of the times
only sometimes we don't realise it
    sad but true

Kalau kau putus asa pun hidup ini tetap berjalan.
    Masa tetap berjalan.
Pekerja tetap pergi kerja. Budak-budak tetap pergi sekolah.
    Yang patut mati tetap mati.
    Bayi tetap lahir.
    Kau tetap celik dari tidur.
Tak ada yang berhenti kalau kau berhenti.
Nak tak nak kau kena sabar, kena percaya, sebab itu saja yang kau ada, itu saja yang dapat mengubah benda.
    Sabar!!!

    ‎Burnt toast

    ‎Burnt toast

“When I was a little Boy, I remember one day in particular when my mum had made breakfast. She must have been very tired. My mum placed a plate of eggs, and rather burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed. Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me was I ready for school. I don’t remember what I replied, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jam on that toast and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I’ll never forget what he said: ‘Baby, I love burned toast.’

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, ‘Your Momma works hard day after day and she’s real tired. And besides a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!’ You know, life is full of imperfect things…..and imperfect people. I’m not the best football player either.

What I’ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each other’s faults – and choosing to celebrate each other’s differences – is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

We should learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the infront of Allah. Because in the end, He’s the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where burnt toast isn’t a deal-breaker! We could extend this to any relationship in fact – as understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!!”

“The faithful husband should not hate his faithful wife, because if he hates a certain manner in her character, then he should not forget the other good manners in her character.”

    A father's advice

Following is a letter by a Father to his son from a renowned Hong Kong
TV broadcaster/Child Psychologist. The words are actually applicable
to all of us, young or old, Children or parents.! This applies to
daughters too. All parents can use this in their teachings to their
    children.

    Dear son ,

I am writing this to you because of 3 reasons

1.Life, fortune and mishaps are unpredictable; nobody knows how long he lives. Some words are better said early.

    2. I am your father, and if I don't tell you these, no one else will.

    3. What is written is my own personal bitter experiences that perhaps could save you a lot of unnecessary heartaches.

Remember the following as you go through life:

    1. Do not bear grudge towards those who are not good to you. No one has the responsibility of treating you well, except your mother and I.
To those who are good to you, you have to treasure it and be thankful, and ALSO you have to be cautious, because, everyone has a motive for every move. When a person is good to you, it does not mean he really likes you. You have to be careful, don't hastily regard him as a real friend.

    2. No one is indispensable, nothing in the world that you must
possess. Once you understand this idea, it would be easier for you to go through life when people around you don't want you anymore, or when you lose what/who you love most.

3.Life is short. When you waste your life today, tomorrow you would find that life is leaving you. The earlier you treasure your life, the better you enjoy life.

4.Love is but a transient feeling, and this feeling would fade with time and with one's mood. If your so called loved one leaves you, be patient, time will wash away your aches and sadness. Don't over exaggerate the beauty and sweetness of love, and don't over exaggerate the sadness of falling out of love.

5.A lot of successful people did not receive a good education, that does not mean that you can be successful by not studying hard! Whatever knowledge you gain is your weapon in life. One can go from rags to riches, but one has to start from some rags!

6.I do not expect you to financially support me when I am old, neither would I financially support your whole life. My responsibility as a supporter ends when you are grown up. After that, you decide whether you want to travel in a public transport or in your limousine, whether rich or poor.

7.You honor your words, but don't expect others to be so. You can be good to people, but don't expect people to be good to you. If you don't understand this, you would end up with unnecessary troubles.

    8. I have bought lotteries for umpteen years, but I never strike any prize. That shows if you want to be rich, you have to work hard! There is no free lunch!

    9. No matter how much time I have with you, let's treasure the time we have together. We do not know if we would meet again in our next life.

    With Love,

    Your Dad...

See what i got her !

    A cute mimo doll!
I'm buying her a pillow for our trip to Kedah next week!
For your information it is a 12+ hours journey form dungun to kedah.
It's going to be a long and tiring journey so having a pillow would make her more comfortable to sleep.

I hope you like it dear!

    Lets write

    Tuesday, November 13, 2012
Assalamualaikum and hi to all readers.
Dah lama sangat tak update blog ni!
Cik Siti Sarah dah banyak kali suruh updata blog, nak baca katanya but, well, i was lazy =P
However tonight i'm feeling a little bored so i might as well do some writing to get rid of the boredom. :)
The things i want to talk tonight is about my fifth semester -
what i have gone through and how awesome it was.

The first one is about my everyday life!
During my 5th sem, i lived alone in the hostel while all my close friends lived outside.
The idea of living alone without friends should make everyone feels bored but i was not!
This is because despite living far from friends, i still have my precious, Cik Siti Sarah binti Azmi. :P
She stayed just next to my hostel, Duyung B while i stayed at Duyung A.
We keep each other company everyday ! We went to class together, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner together, went to test together, study together. So yeah, we pretty much did everything together !
The thought of going even just a day without her is just very sad and weird.
Well, call me a clingy boyfriend or whatsoever, i don't mind. :P
Honestly, this is the highlight of my fifth semester :)

The next thing i wanna talk about is about the activities i joined during the 5th sem.
The first one is Sukan Antara Fakulti (SAF).
SAF is a sport competition where each faculty will compete with each other and the faculty with the highest point wins.
To be honest, i don't want to get involve with this at all but due to the lack of people in my faculty, EVERYONE has to participate in at least one competition.
I choosed to take part in MERDEKA MARCH and LARIAN SAF.
Merdeka march held at night, around 8pm to 12 am in order to celebrate the opening ceremony of SAF and Malaysian Independence Day.
Larian saf is a 7km marathon which is held early in the morning.
    My faculty
won the 3rd place in Merdeka march and i lost in the larian saf but hey ! at least i cleared it :P

    Sikit gila yang datang.haha!

The next one is industrial visit to Malayan Adhesive and Chemical @ Shah Alam.
The visit is compulsory for one of my subject which is chemical reaction engineering.
The purpose of the visit is to look and observe in detail on how do the reactors operate.
Here are some pictures from the trip!

    dalam bus!
    tumpang hostel di UKM Bangi

The third one is Thesis Proposal Defence!
First of all, what you need to know is, us Diploma Chemical Engineering students doesn't have any work practical courses, but we have to do a final year project instead.
Is it an individual project and each person is given one supervisor.
    I'm lucky i get a great supervisor.
I mean, she is open to all of my opinions and she let me choose my own title for my project.
After some discussion with her, i decided to make an adsorbate.
My project title is 'Adsorption of Remazol Red 3BS Dye with Treated Sugarcane Bagasse with Formaldehyde and Sulphuric acid'.

A little introduction on my project : Korang tahu x pasal industri textile?

Haa, that is a little introduction on my final year project.
So next sem i will be struggling to finish this project but what comes next is harder, the thesis writing!

Lastly the thing i wanna talk about is my 5th semester result!
My 5th result was, well to me, was disappointing.
I expected it to be higher but, i reap what i sow :P
However the good news is, we both ( sarah and i ) get dean list again this sem !
I'm so happy for it !
One more dean list and i'll get Anugerah Naik Canselor :)
    So here is my result!

As expected, B+ for my ETR ( HEY I'M REALLY BAD AT READING SUBJECT !)
and sadly, B+ for unit operation too.
The subject was hard, really really really hard but i have confidence in myself, i thought i can get an A for it. Oh well, too bad :/
Gotta do better for next sem, afterall next sem is the last sem!
Next sem kita belajar sama sama and dapat dekan sama sama lagi ye cik siti sarah :)

     So thats all for tonight.
Dah panjang rasanya aku menulis ni so congrats to all the people who managed to read until this far. hahaha. See you again in the next entry.
Selamat malam, may peace be upon you !

    The Fourth Semester

    Sunday, April 22, 2012
    Assalamualaikum and selamat sejahtera !
I'm back ! it's been such a long time since I last updated my blog.
so my first entry after my long long blog vacation is a summary on what I have gone through during my 4th semester in UiTM :)

    1. NACES

In my previous post, I have talked about NACES, a gathering for chemical engineering students.
so sometime in December last year, we went to UTM Sekudai, Johor to join the event.
it was fun! I made new friends, interact with people from different Unis, and learn much more knowledge about the profession known as ' Chemical Engineer ' .
oh and I did participate in one of the competition, the Technical Essay Writting
    and yes, I lost T_T
    BUT !!
my team I did placed first in explorace and I was the team leader ! =D .
well yeah, I lost in the main competition, but still, NACES was a great experience and lets hope we can meet again next year, NACES !

here are some pictures at the NACES !

    LDK
    makan bersama sama
    Us, last day. heuheuheu =p

    2. Kolokium Penyelidikan Pelajar

In my previous post too, I have expressed my sadness happiness of me being forced to be a project leader.
the project was named ' Kolokium Penyelidikan Pelajar '.
so what was this colloquium for?
it was for the final year students to present, display and share their final year's project results.
as my first time being a project leader, it wasn't easy, I was scared .
I doubted myself that I can handle such big responsibility.
but alhamdulillah, I have great friends and lecturers, who helped me a lot to make this event a success!

    lastly, pictures !

    tahniah! pemenang poster terbaik
    bilik gerakan =p
    sekitar kolokium
nasi briani + ayam merah + tembikai, sedap !
hilang penat lelah lepas semua ckp good job..hee..

    3. Family Day

There's nothing much no say about this, because I didn't took part in any games at all. haha! =p
    but yeah, it was fun.
it was hard for us to gather together because some stays inside the college and some stays outside
so this event gave us the opportunity to gather and have fun together  =)

    and! here are the pictures
    Me, with jambang ! haha

Us together, tapi ramai yang x datang =|

    4. Secretary

During my fourth semester, I have to live outside the college .
as I didn't have any means of transportation, I have to depend on my friends to go to class or any place
and it was a pain in the ass !
so, to make my life easier, I decided that in the fifth semester, I have to be the college's resident.
it was supposed to be impossible for me to be a college's resident, because I didn't collect any merit at all.
but there was actually a way, which was filling the empty secretary spot for my faculty's club
and now, here I am, a secretary for Chemical Engineering and Student Society. haha! =D
I have never been a secretary before so I think this will be a good experience for me.
    and as a result :

    duyung ! =)

NACES, colloquium, family day and college.
    that all for this post,
stay tune for the next entry !

    Bonus picture !

the happiest moment in 4th sem, us, pergi date=p

may peace be upon you =)

    National Chemical Engineering Symposium 2011

    Friday, October 28, 2011
Hey! Sorry it's been such a long time since i've updated my blog!
Can’t help it, i got lazy xD sorry again!
Okay, let's leave that aside, today i want to talk about National Chemical Engineering Symposium (NACES)

NACES is a gathering for chemical engineering students in Malaysia
However, chemical engineering students from South East Asia region also invited to be our guest participants!
This year NACES will be held in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 16th-18th Dec 2011
The theme for NACES 2011 is SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
So, so, so, what's so special about NACES?

Well, there are five competitions that will be held in conjunction of this event
The competitions are Technical Essay Writing CompetitionTechnical Power Point Presentation CompetitionTechnical Video Presentation CompetitionTechnical Plant Design Competition and Technical Case Study Competition

I will be taking part in technical essay writing competition
The theme for the essay is of course - Sustainable Development
It should be in between of 1000-2000 words excluded abstracts, appendices, endnotes and footnotes
    AND
a 300 words summary on the articles.
fuhh, it sure do sounds like a pain in the ass aite ?? xD

So i haven't started writing yet, but fear not!
I think i have some ideas on what to write about :)
Still, i can't keep delaying this task, gotta finish it before its dateline which is on 10th November!
i will give this my best, however, winning or losing doesn't really matter you know, the main purpose of me joining this event is to meet up with chemical engineers all over Malaysia and Southeast Asia region, get new friends, and get to learn more about my field of study :)

So, that's all in my post this time
qayyum, lets meet at UTM this December, okay? And to all other chemineers too, aiman, uyuun, and the others, i'm hoping to meet you guys there too!
    Till my next post, bye!

    10 amazing lessons in life

    Monday, August 15, 2011
    Hi guys !
today i wanna share with you about 10 amazing lessons we can learn from the genius ,
    Albert Einstein

    1) Follow Your Curiosity

“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”

What piques your curiosity? I am curious as to what causes one person to succeed while another person fails; this is why I’ve spent years studying success. What are you most curious about? The pursuit of your curiosity is the secret to your success.

    2) Perseverance is Priceless

“It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer.”

Through perseverance the turtle reached the ark. Are you willing to persevere until you get to your intended destination? They say the entire value of the postage stamp consist in its ability to stick to something until it gets there. Be like the postage stamp; finish the race that you’ve started!

    3) Focus on the Present

“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”

My father always says you cannot ride two horses at the same time. I like to say, you can do anything, but not everything. Learn to be present where you are; give your all to whatever you’re currently doing.Focused energy is power, and it’s the difference between success and failure.

    4) The Imagination is Powerful

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge.”

Are you using your imagination daily? Einstein said the imagination is more important than knowledge! Your imagination pre-plays your future. Einstein went on to say, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.” Are you exercising your “imagination muscles” daily, don’t let something as powerful as your imagination lie dormant.

    5) Make Mistakes

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”

Never be afraid of making a mistake. A mistake is not a failure. Mistakes can make you better, smarter and faster, if you utilize them properly. Discover the power of making mistakes. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, if you want to succeed, triple the amount of mistakes that you make.

    6) Live in the Moment

“I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.”

The only way to properly address your future is to be as present as possible “in the present.”You cannot “presently” change yesterday or tomorrow, so it’s of supreme importance that you dedicate all of your efforts to “right now.” It’s the only time that matters, it’s the only time there is.

    7) Create Value

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

Don’t waste your time trying to be successful, spend your time creating value. If you’re valuable, then you will attract success.Discover the talents and gifts that you possess, learn how to offer those talents and gifts in a way that most benefits others.Labor to be valuable and success will chase you down.

    8) Don’t Expect Different Results

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

You can’t keep doing the same thing everyday and expect different results. In other words, you can’t keep doing the same workout routine and expect to look differently. In order for your life to change, you must change, to the degree that you change your actions and your thinking is to the degree that your life will change.

    9) Knowledge Comes From Experience

“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.”

Knowledge comes from experience. You can discuss a task, but discussion will only give you a philosophical understanding of it; you must experience the task first hand to “know it.” What’s the lesson? Get experience! Don’t spend your time hiding behind speculative information, go out there and do it, and you will have gained priceless knowledge.

    10) Learn the Rules and Then Play Better

“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”

To put it all in simple terms, there are two things that you must do. The first thing you must do is to learn the rules of the game that you’re playing. It doesn’t sound exciting, but it’s vital. Secondly, you must commit to play the game better than anyone else. If you can do these two things, success will be yours!

itu je untuk post kali ini
insyaAllah in my next post, imma update more about my life
so, goodbye, may peace be upon you !

    An inspirational story

One evening I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my wife to finish work. Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum. From the looks of him he had no car, no home, no clean clothes and no money.

There are times when you feel generous, but there are times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of the "Don't want to be bothered" times! " Hope he doesn't ask me for money," I thought. He didn't. He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop and he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.

After a few minutes he spoke. "That's a very nice car," he said. He was ragged, but had an air of dignity around him. I said "Thanks," and continued wiping off my car. He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came. As the silence between us widened, something inside said, "Ask him if he needs any help." I was sure that he would say yes, but I held true to the inner voice.

"Do you need any help?" I asked. He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget. We often look for wisdom in great accomplishments. I expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments. I expected nothing but an outstretched grimy hand. He spoke three words that shook me, "Don't we all?" he said. I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus fare but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day.

Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help. Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that!

You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse of something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you, through a torn world can see.

i like this story, a lot, yes, we all do need help and we all can give help, even tough there are times when you think you have nothing more to give, but i believe that when someone close cries out to you, you will find the strength to help, insyaAllah :)

mari, kita buka dan lembutkan hati kita :)

Forgive me Allah For the wrongs I have done. For anger, I shouldn't have Against anyone. I know I'm weak Allah, But I love You, I really do, And in spite of my weakness, I know You love me too. Forgive me for not reading Your word, And for the times that I stray. Forgive me for just being too tired When I don't take the time to pray. Give me the strength, Oh! Allah, to do what I should each day. Let Your love shine through me So others will follow Your way. Even though I've failed You Allah, I know You'll forgive me, And this I promise Allah, A better Muslim I will be. For Your presence is in me Filling my heart with Your love, And I have Your reassurance You're guiding from above. I love You Allah, and thank You For the blessings You bestow, I will tell others about You So Your goodness they too, will know.
